The 11th (North Devonshire) Regiment of Foot is a living history group portraying the life within the regiment during the Napoleonic Wars 1803-1815.

Its not just the soldiers we portray but we also welcome people who are interested in portraying the lives of the civilians and tradesman who followed the regiment during these years. From the officers wives to the surgeons, soldiers wives to blacksmiths there were countless roles which supported the fighting men of the regiment and its these people as well as the soldiers we want to portray at our events. These roles all help to contribute to the regiments living history displays.

Perhaps you have an interest in a craft from this period of history, that you would like to bring to life at our events or maybe you like playing a musical instrument; no matter what it is you want to do, you will be very welcome in the 11th Regiment of Foot.
